This is a heavily revised project from several years back that originally premiered on my Patreon before my formal October Novella Event manifested. It was one of three pieces about Kell, a demon of Bells, who meanders graveyards, responding to the summons of those who have been buried alive. Kell has quite a few lovers. Each story explored a different relationship: an obsessed serial killer desperate to see his angel of darkness, even if it means filling a grave to make it happen; a graveyard Grimm who helps those in need—and despairs when he arrives too late to spare a soul from Kell’s particular aid; and the Prince of Hell who made Kell what he now is and always, always, always welcomes him when he finally comes home.

This one, the serial killer one, was the only one out of the three I actually like after all these years, so don’t get your hopes up for more Kell anytime soon—the others are a shitshow and need far more help than this one did.
